LIFTS ARE EFFICIENT, ECONOMICAL HANDLING SOLUTION
A new range of lifts designed for carrying goods and personnel together has been introduced by European Conveyor Systems Ltd. Because an operator can travel with the goods, the lifts can be unloaded as soon as they reach their destination, speeding up handling procedures.
The equipment is available with 1200kg and 2000kg load capacities and can incorporate up to six stopping places and 12 access points. Maximum lift dimensions are 2400mm wide x 2860mm deep x 2600mm high.
The lifts operate within a free-standing, prefabricated steel enclosure with a maximum height of 20 metres that is riveted and bolted together. No pit is needed, so there is no civil engineering work. They are driven by electric motors on top of the shaft and include parachute brakes, internal control panel, battery back-up for lights and alarm, and light curtains on entrances.
